The Domoscore: The Next Evolution of Home Shopping

Lee Eckroth2 year ago

We're excited to announce the next evolution of home shopping: The Domoscore.

Have you ever been surprised by costly house defects found in a home inspection? Wouldn't it be helpful to surface those issues before you submitted an offer? That way you could create a smarter offer sooner.

Are you ready to compare homes beyond location, size, and list price? Taking into account the condition can be difficult if you don't have any construction experience. What if you could systematically look at any home's condition in an objective manner?

Now you can with a Domoscore! Like a credit score, the Domoscore is a single number between 0-10,000 that gives you the overall condition of a home. Plus, it provides a breakdown of the total number so you can better assess and understand the overall condition of any home. It's easy to use and is absolutely FREE.

Be one of the first to try it! If you are a real estate agent, share it with your buyers and sellers to give them an immediate advantage in today's competitive market.

You'd need to wait until you're looking to buy or sell a home to give it a try. It works on any home, so you can try it where you're living right now. My home's Domoscore is 5880.

To Get Started:

  • Download the app from Apple's App Store, Android's Play Store, or try it online. Enter a property's address.
  • We ask a few simple questions about specific items in the house. Then you'll walk through the house, like on a scavenger hunt, to answer the questions. It usually takes 5-10 minutes, is fun and enlightening.
  • After you complete the walk-through, you'll get your Domoscore with a detailed report which you can use to surface issues sooner, compare homes, and plan for maintenance and improvements.

Surface Issues Sooner

You don't need to wait until the second half of a home inspection - after you submit an offer and receive the inspection report - to start figuring out which repairs need to be made. The Domoscore will give you the home's condition so you can confidently make a decision on the next steps - whether making an offer or deciding to pass - faster. Check out a sample report.
