For the past 6-years, I have headed out on a week-long mountain bike trip with an incredible group of buddies. On our first trip, we went to Moab, Utah. As we drove into town after driving all night from Oregon we sat down for breakfast. The person who helped us had a tattoo that said: "Take Chances". That was a sign. Game on! We adopted that spirit moving forward in all we did.
Have you considered when the last time you thought differently and took chances? Take your home for example - have you considered turning your front yard into completely edible landscaping? It could take months of work, neighbors may get grumpy and the replanting will take a lot of work - but the end result could be amazing. Have you considered leading the way in your neighborhood as the first to give the front of your home an overhaul? This started in my neighborhood in the past 6-months with just one home refacing their home, building a beautiful covered entry, installing a new roof, expanding their home, and more. Their home is coming alive! Beautiful work #hendererdesignbuild
All of a sudden there are multiple neighbors following (including me). It feels and looks great! In addition, with each improvement, your home's Domoscore increases - as does the value.
Today - consider "Taking Chances". Do different. Be different. Lead the way - even when there might be a bear standing in the way.
