We had our first radio interview with KGAL's Dave Pautsch for Majordomo and it was a lot of fun! Admittedly, I was nervous; it's been a long time since I have sat in front of a radio microphone.
Growing up, I aspired to be a meteorologist - an honorable vocation that helps humanity by predicting weather and sharing forecasts. My "on-air" journey included 4-years as a mobile disc jockey, shifts on a college radio station - Delta College 90.1 - and even doing an internship at KWIN in Stockton, California thanks to my friend Johnny Milford. Back in the day, my radio handle was The General.
Visiting the KGAL studio in Albany, Oregon, and spending an hour with my friend Dave Pautsch with the Foundation GROUP at RE/MAX Integrity was SO.MUCH.FUN. Dave and I have been friends for over 10 years and he's an awesome real estate broker. I love that he's been sharing his passion for real estate on the radio for many years to serve others. Dave encompasses the spirit and 5-laws of the Go-Giver.
I was fortunate to come across Dave at the beginning of March at the Re/MAX R4 Convention. This was the first BIG real estate agent show for Majordomo. James Furlo, Majordomo's co-founder and COO, and I were invited to exhibit just a couple of weeks prior and felt fortunate to be there with 6500 of the top-producing agents in the country. When Dave saw our booth he said, "I had no idea this was you! This is awesome. You need to come on my show and share more!"
As I left the radio station and drove back to Majordomo's HQ2, I reflected on the experience and was reminded why Majordomo means so much to me. Majordomo's Domoscore and Domoreport were created to help home buyers, sellers and agents make confident decisions. The Domoscore reports a home's condition and helps forecast home maintenance and improvements. The Domoreport predicts repair estimates and project details. Instead of weather, we're reporting on home condition - another honorable vocation to help humanity. Awesome!
