Do you love Excel?
I do. Not as much as Japanese artist, Tatsuo Horiuchi, but it's close. If I have a task I'm not certain how to do, I start with Excel. That obviously includes anything with numbers, but also for design work, like layouts, wireframes, and feedback markup. Look, Photoshop is cool, but sometimes you need something simple with an infinite canvas.
Or, maybe you're a pivotable master and want to create you own views.
Or, perhaps you have your own database that you want to combine with Majordomo's data, and copy/pasting all of our data is tedious (believe me, I know).
If you fall into any of those groups, or like getting your hands dirty with data in general, I have exciting news for you!
We spent a lot of time researching and designing the current Domoreport and Domoscore reports, but we understand that not everyone has the same needs. So, we made it possible for anyone to directly download the data and use it as they want.
We made it as simple as possible by providing a link right at the top of the repair details. All you do is click the link and it'll download a zip file that contains four CSV files.
The first file is a data dictionary that defines each item in the following CSV files. You can view all the documentation here as well.
Then you can create your own reports and views that best suits your needs. Here are some quick examples I created:
I like this last one because it visually shows how you're spending your money. Drywall is cheap, but installing it isn't easy, so it makes sense that the labor, including the trip charge, would be the bulk of the expense.
Once you order a Domoreport, you'll be able to download this data as well.

The Domoreport is the most in-depth report on a home’s condition ever created, yet it’s easy to read and you can quickly figure out exactly what your buyers need to know. It’s the new standard for helping home buyers quickly understand the condition of their home with local and highly accurate repair estimates based on their inspection.
